Headpins are a jewellery making basic. These 1 inch headpins are silver plated on iron which makes them strong and sturdy. Turning them by hand takes a firm grip but once in place they will create a robust loop for lasting jewellery designs. These iron headpins are ideal for using with the 1-Step Looper Tool, which will make light work of creating your headpin loops. One of our most popular headpins, these short silver plated headpins with a flat end can be used in a variety of different jewellery projects, from creating dangles for earrings or charm bracelets to necklaces and more. A jewellery makers must-have!

  • Made from Iron
  • Silver Plated
  • Each headpin measures approx. 26mm (1 inch)
  • 20 Gauge
  • Thickness of headpin measures approx. 0.8mm.
  • Sold in a pack containing approx. 100 headpins.
Please note that the majority of headpins may not be completely straight. Flat Nylon Jaw pliers are ideal for straightening head and eye pins and we would highly recommend them to any jewellery maker for such a task.

CommentThe benefit of the 1 inch is that you do not have to cut anything of but they are still long enough to be able to make a two beaded bead.

Commenti couldn't get seed beads to the very end of the pin head which was frustrating so I had to use my longer head pins for when I used seed beads which was a waste to cut off.
