Follow Leah's tutorial to make this pretty Sparkle Knotted Pendant. Once you have mastered the technique you could adapt this design to make matching earrings using a smaller base or you could use it as a connector in a bracelet, the choice is yours. Ready? Let's get creative!

Step 1

Cut 2.5 metres of cord,  measure 10cm from one end of the cord and fold the cord over. Place the loop created with the cord under the soldered ring. Feed the ends of the cord through the loop created and pull the cord tight.

Using just the one piece of cord go through the centre of the soldered ring and back up through the loop created. Pull tight.

With the same piece of cord you now need to go under the soldered ring and up through the loop created. Pull the cord tight.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 to make 3 full knots in total. Add three beads to the cord. You may need to slightly singe or glue the end of the cord to help with threading the beads on. Push the beads right up next to the knot created.

Now repeat the same knots, starting from going through the centre of the soldered ring and up through the loop created. Then go underneath the soldered ring and up through the loop. Keep pulling the cord tight.

Repeat this process of creating 3 full knots then adding 3 beads until you have worked your way around the soldered ring. Trim any excess cord and singe/glue the ends in place.

Twist open the jump ring and place it through your design, before you close the ring place the chain through the jump ring hole and twist close. Your necklace is now complete. Happy Beading.
