Step 1

Begin by checking the end of your snake chain. It needs to not have any sharp edges and be as rounds as possible in order to fit into the 2mm end cap. Use cutters to trim any sharp bits and/or pliers to ensure it's a neat edge.

Step 1

Step 2

Ensure the chain fits into the cap. Cover the end of the chain with glue.

Step 1

Step 3

Place the chain end into the end cap. Wipe off any excess glue and leave to dry.

Step 4

Add a large jump ring from the kit to each side of the Cowry Shell Connector.

New beaders can find a very helpful video on How to Use a Jump ring HERE

Step 5

Thread an accent bead onto an eye pin. Leaving 1cm of wire, cut the head pin to size.

Using round nose pliers, turn a loop with the remaining 1cm. Repeat so that you have 2 of these little connectors.

New beaders can find an excellent video tutorial on how to do this HERE.

Step 1

Step 6

Open the large jump ring attached to your cowry shell and attach one of the little connectors just made. Close the jump ring.

Repeat on the other side.

Step 1

Step 7

Add a Large jump ring to one of the little accent bead connectors. This will be used to fasten your clasp to.

Measure your wrist. Minus 6.5cm (for a snug fit - more if you want it looser) from this size and cut the snake to size.

Repeat steps 1 to 3 for the other end of the chain.

Step 1

Step 8

Once the glue has dried, attach the lobster claw with a small jump ring from the kit.

And it's ready to wear!
