Cut approx 2 lengths of cord one measuring 30-40" the other measuring approx. 20" in length.
If you aren't familiar with macrame square knotting, you can follow this quick tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUPx2rEH3_Y
Secure your centre, shorter thread to a work surface so that it stays taught.
Thread your longer cord under the shorter cord to the half way point.
Start your macrame knotting approx. 3" down your shorter centre cord.
Complete 3 square knots.
Thread a bead onto the centre cord and bring the two outer cords around the bead.
Complete 1 square knot.
Thread on another bead and brigh the two outer cords around it.
Repeat this until you have used 14 beads.
You may wish to use more or less for a bigger or larger bracelet, but remember that macrame bracelets are adjustable in size.
Complete 3 square knots after the last bead.
Knot, glue and trim the two outer cords leaving the centre cord.
Take the 2 ends of the centre cords, lay them side by side and then do a macramé braid (approx. 6 or 7 square knots) for your sliding knot.
Secure the ends with a drop of glue, being careful not to glue the sliding knot to the centre cords running through it (otherwise it will not be able to slide and adjust). Try gently pulling the centre cords through the sliding knot while the glue dries.
Trim the ends so the sliding knot is neat.
Thread a bead onto each thread and knot to keep them in place.
