Nib-Bit beads! Monika has loved them ever since they appeared online. In this tutorial, Monika will show you how to make earrings from Nib-Bit beads. We are just a few steps away from creating these colourful wonders!
These earrings are also suitable for hanging on chains, flowers, in the home or anywhere you like. Let's start!
Materials Needed;
- Nib-Bit beads
- Ginko beads
- Toho beads 11/0 and 15/0 (T11 and T15 – abbreviations)
- FirePolish 3mm beads (FP abbreviation)
- Fine beading thread

Our tutorials are for inspiration and learning purposes. They include links to the relevant categories for you to choose your own colour combinations and we positively encourage you to experiment with different shapes, sizes, finishes, composition and texture. Why not choose your own beads and colours to achieve something in your own style? Let your imagination run wild and make your dream piece of jewellery.
Please note that the colours for the products illustrated in the image above may not match the 'Products List'.
Step 1
Take a piece of thread and add the following beads; GINKO – FP – T11 – T15 – T11 – FP. We thread as in the photo.
Step 2
We take our needle and thread into the other hole of the ginko bead. At the end we leave a small tail of the thread.
Add 2 T11 – FP – T11 – FP – 2 T11
We go through the other hole of the Ginko go through all the beads again to find ourselves in the place shown in the photo "X"
Step 3
Add FP – 2 T11 – GINKO – as in the photo.
Step 4
We thread FP – T11 – T15 – T11 – FP and go through the hole next to it.
We have something like the following;
Step 5
On the thread we thread 2T11 – FP and go through the bead T11 as in the photo.
Step 6
Now we pass on the beads so that the thread comes out of the FP bead over GINKO.
Step 7
Thread 3T11 – 3 Nib-Bit – 3T11
Go through the FP bead over GINKO – as in the photo. Next we will go through all the beads over GINKO so that the thread comes out of FP as in the photo.
Step 8
Thread 3 T11 – 3 Nib-Bit – 3 T11 and go through the FP bead above GINKO.
Step 9
We pass on the beads over GINKO so that the thread came out to us again from the FP bead. Now we dig into ginko and one T11. See the pictures below.
Step 10
We go through the bottom hole of the nib-bit beads.
As we go through the Nib-Bit we then go through the T11 before the GINKO and then we go through the GINKO.
Step 11
We pass through the beads over the GINKO and go through GINKO and T11.
We pass through the nib-bit and make a knot on the thread between the beads and go through the beads a few more times. Cut off the thread. With this short thread at first, we also pass on the beads and cut off.
Step 12
Add your ear wire. If at the beginning you added 3 T15 in one place, then you put it in this place.
In this version I decided to add some chain at the bottom. For this purpose, I cut a fine chain on an equal 7 parts and attached them to a single jump ring, I then added another jump ring to then attach the chain to the earring.
Step 13
As I mentioned at the beginning, these earrings can be hung on whatever you like. I made another version which you can see below! Happy beading!
