Learn how to make these Navy Bliss Earrings using new tila beads and brilliant twin hole seed beads.

Step 1

Measure approx. 30" of illusion cord and thread through the bottom hole of your tila bead, horizontally. Thread your bead to the centre of the thread

Step 2

Thread a seed bead onto each side of the tila bead. Pass the thread through the top hole of the tila bead.

Step 3

Pass each thread through one side of a twin hole bead and then back down through the other side and through the bottom hole of another tila bead.

Step 4

Thread a seed bead onto each side, pass the thread through the top hole of the tila bead.
Pass each thread through one side of a twin hole bead and then through the other side, and then add another tila bead.
(See image for more detail)
Repeat these steps until your earrings are 4 or 5 tila beads long.

Step 5

Secure, knot and trim your threads at the end of the earring.

Step 6

Cut another length of cord. Thread onto a needle.
Pass your thread through one of the end seed beads.
Secure your thread to this seed bead by passing around and back through it a few times.

Step 7

Come out the other side of this seed bead, next to the twin hole bead.
Thread on 4 seed beads and pass the cord over the twin hole and through the next seed bead on the side you are working on.
Repeat this until you reach the other end of the earring.

Step 8

When you pass through the last seed bead on the earring, add 10 seed beads and bring the thread around the end tila bead to start the other side of the earring.
Continue your 4 seed bead pattern all the way down the other side of the earring,
Finish your thread by knotting and securing it within your design.
Add a drop of glue to secure if you wish.

Step 9

The 10 x bead loop at the end of your earring is where you should attach a jumpring and then an ear wire.
