Midnight Hour Necklace

Cut two pieces of wire approx. 50cm in length. Thread them through the holes in the back of one on the square stone settings adding crimp beads inside too, and position the setting in the centre. Squash the crimp beads flat inside each of the 4 holes to keep the setting securely in the centre of the wires.

Now thread 3 blue pearls on the top wire, and 2 blue pearls, a faceted round bead and another 2 pearls onto the bottom wire.

Thread the wires through the first holes in an oval setting, add 2 crimps and thread through the second holes. Pull the wires tight and crimp to form the curve at the front of the necklace.

Now thread 2 silver pearls, one faceted round and another 2 silver pearls on each strand. Add a square setting then make another pearl and crystal section with blue pearls. Add another oval setting, then add 2 silver pearls, one faceted round, 2 silver pearls, 2 blue pearls, 1 faceted round, 2 blue pearls and 3 silver pearls to the row that comes round from the top of the centre stone.

Add the same beads to the other row after the oval setting but instead of adding 3 silver pearls at the end, add 2 silver pearls, a faceted round bead and two more silver pearls. This helps the necklace to sit properly.

Use French wire and crimps to attach the ends to a 2 strand clasp. Repeat steps 2-6 on the other side of the necklace.

Glue the inside of the settings and the teeth with Fevi Kwik Glue. Position the stones carefully and then gently close the teeth around the stones. Leave to dry.
