Do you like flowers? In summer, they beautifully emphasise holiday stylisations, and in winter they remind you of these blissful moments. We decided to show you how to make macramé circle earrings sprinkled with flowers. All you need is a piece of cord, a handful of beads and the base for the earring. Ready? Let's Braid!
You can add all the items you need to your basket by clicking the box in the 'Products used' section above, or you can let your imagination run wild and choose your own materials from the links below. Please note that the colours for the products illustrated in the image above may not match the 'Products List'.
- Earrings Base - circle in your chosen size and colour
- 4mm/5mm Round Beads
- Toho beads 8/0
- Macramé Cord - needs to be thin enough to pass through your beads
- Earwires - To match the base
- Scissors
- Pilar's
- Lighter to melt the cord
Remember - our tutorials are for inspiration and learning purposes. They include links to the relevant categories for you to choose your own colour combinations and we positively encourage you to experiment with different shapes, sizes, finishes, composition and texture. Why not choose your own beads and colours to achieve something in your own style? Let your imagination run wild and make your dream jewellery.

Step 1
Cut about 70 cm of the cord. If you decide to use smaller bases, the cord will also need a little less.
We will weave with a flat knot as if we were making the simplest bracelet from a cord with the difference that the base of the earring will be inside.
Put a cord under the base so that the ends on both sides have the same length.
Step 2
We braid a flat knot.
Put the cord on the left to the base and the cord on the right to the top. As in the picture.
Step 3
Put the cord on the right (X) under the base and the cord on the loop on the right side and tighten it. This will be the first part of the flat knot.
Step 4
We repeat the same thing, but starting with passing the cord on the right side above the base. Mirror image of the previous step.
Step 5
We have the first flat knot, so now it's time for the flower. Take 3 toho beads for each cord and thread a 4 mm ball on the base.
Step 6
And we weave a flat knot as before.
Step 7
And the second.
Step 8
We have a flower.
Step 9
We make another flower. We thread 3 toho on each cord, a round on the base and we make a flat knot.
Step 10
And so on until the end of the base.
Step 11
Cut off the excess cord and melt the knots out of the way. You can gently smear the bottom side with glue instead of melting.
Step 12
We put on the earwire and it's ready.
Step 13
Here, for comparison, you have earrings on two sizes of base and on the smaller ones there are larger spaces between the flowers, so I just made more knots.
