Start by laying out the beads in the pattern you want it to follow, ensuring there is an equal amount each side.
Once you are happy with the design, take a length of beadalon and attached the clasp. I personally like to use wire guards to help strength the necklace and give it a professional finish.
String one of the 2mm round beads followed by the rondrelles onto the beadalon until you reach what will be the middle of the necklace.
To attach the pendant first string 1 of each of the following rounds (in this order), 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 4mm, 2mm. Once you have done this you can attach the pendant. To do this go through the hole with the beadalon and then go back through the last 2mm round to secure it in place. You may need to manipulate it slightly to ensure it sits straight.
Continue with the pattern as you did in point 4, but in reverse (4mm, 6mm, 4mm, and then 1 2mm) on the other side of the pendent, keeping as much tension as possible.
Once the pendant is in place continue to string an equal amount of rondrelles to the other side as you did in step 3, followed by 1 2mm round.
To finish the necklace add a crimp bead, a wire guard, and then a jump ring. Secure the crimp.
You can then add a few extra jump rings to make the necklace to a suitable length for your LBD. For added sparkle and to finish off the necklace wrap one of the remaining 4mm round beads to the end of the jump rings.
This is the best step – wear your new evening elegance jewellery with pride on a night out. Enjoy.
