Step 1

Pattern details

This bracelet is made in Bead crochet technique with Japanese seed beads Toho 11. There are 7 stitches in one round. Colours and size of the beads can be changed according to personal preferences.

Thickness – 0.8 cm (~0.35”)

Length of the beaded part –15 cm (~6”),

Additional Materials :

- Glue

- Crochet hook  0.75 – 1

- Beading needle

Step 2

String all of the beads in order stated in the pattern onto your thread.

Step 1

Step 3

Form a slip knot at the end of the crochet thread. Insert the crochet hook through the loop. Grab the thread with crochet hook and pull it through the loop to form 1 chain stitch. Create 6 more chain stitches for a total of 6.

Step 1

Step 4

Connect into the ring.

NB. I like to crochet several rows without beads to create the base and it also glues better into the cord ends.

Step 1

Step 5

Once you have enough of the base,  insert your crochet hook into the next chain stitch on the ring. Push a bead along the thread until it rests near the ring. Grab the thread just behind the bead with your crochet hook and pull the thread through the chain stitch and the loop on your crochet hook.

Step 1

Step 6

Repeat Step 5 until your ring has 7 beads attached to it.

Step 1

Step 7

Insert your crochet hook into the loop under the first bead. Bring your thread from the right side of your bead across the front of your bead and to the left. Push a new bead along your thread until it rests near the first bead. Grab the thread just behind the new bead with your crochet hook and pull it through the loop under the first bead and the loop on your crochet hook. This is called a slip stitch.

Step 1

Step 8

Repeat steps 7 until the bracelet reaches the length you desire or you have used all the beads.

Step 1

Step 9

Finishing the End

Insert your crochet hook into the loop under the first bead of your last row. Bring your thread from the right side of your bead across the front of your bead and to the left. Grab the thread with your crochet hook and pull it through the loop under the first bead and the loop on your crochet hook. Repeat for the remaining beads in the row.

NB here you can also crochet several rows without beads to finish off the bracelet.

Cut the thread . Glue the cord ends. Attach the clasp
