Who doesn’t like to shine from time to time? I think everyone of us turns into a little magpie sometimes. And crystals are the best for magpies! Paula is going to show you how to make a bracelet with rivoli crystals. She also used Fire Polish so the WOW effect is guaranteed. So, if you have some spare time, sit and make this beautiful bracelet with Paula.
You can add all the items you need to your basket by clicking the box in the 'Products used' section above, or you can let your imagination run wild and choose your own materials from the links below. We believe that jewellery should be as individual as you are and so our tutorials are for inspiration and learning purposes. They include links to the relevant categories for you to choose your own colour combinations and we positively encourage you to experiment with different shapes, sizes, finishes, composition and texture. Why not choose your own beads and colours to achieve something in your own style? Let your creative imagination run wild and make your dream piece of jewellery!

Step 1
Prepare quite a long piece of thread – you can make a whole bracelet with 1 thread so if you can work with really long thread (I can’t) – go ahead! About 1.5m long will be enough.
Thread the needle.
Step 2
String a sequence of: 1x FP -- 4xTH 11/0 -- 1x FP -- 4xTH 11/0 -- 1x FP -- 4xTH 11/0 -- 1x FP -- 4xTH 11/0.
Step 3
Pass the needle through the 1st strung FP and pass through all the beads around.
Step 4
Pass a needle through a FP bead.
Step 5
String 3 11/0 TOHO and pass the needle through the nearest FP. Repeat that 4 times.
Step 6
Pass through the 11/0 TH just added. String 3 beads and pass the needle so that the thread comes out of the 2nd (central) 110 TH.
Step 7
String FP and pass through the nearest top 11/0 TH. Repeat that until you have added 4 FP.
Step 8
The top of the 1st part of our bracelet is finished. Let’s move on! Pass the needle through the beads so that the thread comes out of a bottom FP.
Step 9
Turn your work. String 5 11/0 TH and pass through the nearest FP. Repeat that 4 times.
Step 10
You can pass the needle through the whole sequence just added, but it’s not necessary. Pass the needle so that the thread comes out of the 3rd (central) 11/0 TH.
Step 11
We’re not going to add any beads now. Pass the needle through all top beads. Your work looks like a basket now, but don’t pull the thread yet!
Step 12
Before you pull the thread, put an 8 mm Bonny crystal inside your work. My bracelet needs to shine, but a crystal is not obligatory.
Step 13
As the crystal is inside now, you can pull the thread. Pass the needle through all 4 beads again and the 1st part is finished.
Step 14
10/11 such squares are recommended for a 15 cm wrist. There is still some work to do.
Now we need to make a link that will be used to connect the next square. Pass the needle so that the thread comes out of 4 11/0 TH beads (the first beads we added at the beginning).
Step 15
String 4 11/0 TH and pass up through the sequence you exited.
Step 16
Pass the needle down through the 4 beads just added and string 4 11/0 TH again.
Step 17
Pass the needle down through the 4 beads previously added and pass the needle through the beads just added.
Step 18
String 1x FP -- 4xTOHO 11/0 -- 1x FP -- 4xTOHO 11/0 -- 1x FP -- 4xTOHO 11/0 --1x FP and pass the needle to make a basis of the next square. Do you know what we’re going to do now? Yes – basically, we’re going to repeat all the previous steps. Continue until you have reached the desirable length of the bracelet. See you at the final part!
Step 19
Add 3x TH 11/0.
Step 20
Add FP between the top 11/0 TH.
Step 21
Add 5 11/0 TH in the gaps. Put the crystal inside and pass the needle through the top 11/0 TH previously added.
Step 22
Make a link for the next square.
Step 23
And make another one. We are moving forward slowly.
Step 24
As you remember the pattern you can make your bracelet really quickly.
Step 25
It’s almost finished.
As you have reached the desirable length you can finish off your bracelet.
Step 26
Pass the needle through a FP bead. String 3 x 11/0 TH, 1 8/0 TH and 3 x 11/0 TH. Pass through the nearest FP bead.
Step 27
Pass the needle through the whole basis of the square and through the beads just added to tighten it and to pull the thread. Pass through several beads of this square once again, secure the thread and cut it.
Step 28
Repeat that on the opposite side of your bracelet.
Step 29
Take the pliers and attach the clasp. Pass the jump rings through 8/0 TH and attach the magnetic clasp and… it’s finished.
Step 30
You can now wear your bracelet and enjoy its wonderful shimmer. I hope you like this tutorial and I would love to see your designs in our Facebook group. Kisses!
Step 31
