Beads are addictive! But it's a very good addiction – it improves mood, relaxes, makes us have unique new jewellery and helps to find new, equally like-minded friends. So if you're still hesitant and don't know if you can do it, be sure to try to make these beautiful beaded earrings. Paula will guide you step by step & bead by bead. We hope that this gorgeous tutorial will inspire you to try more. Let's start Beading!

Materials needed:

Jade Flat Drop side drilled Pendant
CrystaLove ™ 4mm beads
Firepolish™ 4mm beads
TOHO ™ size 11/0 and size 8/0 seed bead
Earwires
Jump rings 5mm
Beading Thread
Needle
Scissors

Remember that our tutorials are mainly designed to teach you technique and bring inspiration, so your jewellery doesn't have to look exactly like the one in the tutorial. Don't be afraid to experiment with shapes and colours.

Please note that the colours for the products illustrated in the image above may not match the 'Products List'.

Step 1

We cut off about 50cm of thread and thread on the needle.

Thread on 6 beads TH11/0 and pass through them twice with the thread itself, so that a "flower" is formed for us.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 2

Thread on the CrystaLove round bead 4mm and a TH8/0. Next, we thread a needle into the 4mm bead that we added and into the adjacent TH11/0 bead.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 3

We repeat this 5 more times.

Step 1

Step 4

Thread the needle so that it comes out of the first TH8/0 bead that we added in the previous lap.

Now we will add the firepolish 4mm round beads. We put on a bead and lead the needle to the next TH8/0 bead. We repeat this so that you have added a total of 6 x 4mm beads.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 5

Now we pass the thread itself, throughout the lap to strengthen our needlework. After stretching the thread, our flower will become more 3D.

Step 1

Step 6

We thread 2 x TH11/0 -> the drop bead -> and another 2 TH11/0 beads. We pass through the TH8/0 bead on the other side and 2-3 times we pass the thread itself.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 7

You may want to leave the design as it is or you can add decorative picots. In each TH 8/0 we add 3 TH11/0 beads, we dig into the same TH8/0 bead.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 8

And so a total of 4 times.

Step 1

Step 9

Attach the earwire to your design using jump ring. And the first earring we have is ready.

Step 1

Step 10

And so behold, we already have 2 adorable earrings. Feel free to share your designs in our friendly Facebook group, we would love to see them.
