Lampworked Glass Jewellery Set
Thank you for viewing our archived gallery design. This design is in the gallery archive because we no longer stock some of the main items used to make this design and we don’t currently have suitable alternatives. However we didn’t want to remove the design completely as we thought it might inspire you. If you’d like to buy all the items needed to create a project please visit our main design gallery and browse our current designs.
Bracelet: Select 3 coin shaped beads from the lampworked selection and set aside for the centre of the bracelet. Now pick out 4 smaller beads for either side. Add a crimp to a piece of Beadalon wire and cover with a necklace end. Cut off any excess and close the necklace end. Thread on the glass beads, spacing with small and large metal beads from the findings kit as appropriate. Add a necklace end and crimp inside it, then close. Add a large jump ring to one necklace end and a small jump ring and a lobster clasp to the other.
Dangly Earrings: Thread a small metal bead and a heart bead onto a headpin. Use round nosed pliers or a 1 step looper tool to create a loop. Now take an eyepin and thread on a small metal bead, a square lampworked glass bead and another small metal bead. Create a loop at the other end. Repeat with a round glass bead but without adding metal beads this time. Taking an earwire, assemble the earring by linking each piece with a small jump ring. Repeat to make the second earring.
Crimped Earrings: Cut a piece of Beadalon wire and place it through the loop in the earwire. Thread both ends through a crimp bead and squash the crimp flat. Thread a small metal bead, a small glass bead and another small metal bead on to one end of the wire. Crimp on at an appropriate length, and repeat on the other end. Add another piece of wire and crimp on another bead in the same way. Repeat for the second earring. Watch our video tutorial for more detailed instructions.
Necklace: Select your beads first to ensure you can get a symmetrical design. Thread your bottom bead on to a headpin, and thread each other bead on to an eyepin. Use jump rings to link each eyepin together in your chosen formation. Add a large jump ring to one end and a small jump ring and a lobster clasp to the other end.
