Use our hot new WrapIt Loom to make a beautiful blue bracelet with new semi-precious gemstone beads, finished with a cute snowflake charm and fluffy pom pom.

Step 1

Set up your loom following the packet instructions. To start with you won't need the extender. Cut 72 inches of leather cord and thread your pom pom charm to the middle. Holding both cords together, tie a knot below the pom pom charm. This will act as your clasp.

Step 2

Attach the pom pom end of your bracelet to the loom by opening the clamp and slide the pom pom behind it and close the clamp. Bring your leather cords to the opposite end of the loom and wrap your ends around the sliding loom part. Draw the slider back to give you cords tension and press it into the groove on the track to secure it in place.

Cut a 1.5m length of Nymo thread, find the middle and place the cord at the top of your loom across your leather cords. Take the right hand thread and wrap it over and under the right hand leather cord. Take the left side of thread and wrap it over and under the left leather cord so that your threads come back through the middle. Tie the cords together in a knot to secure.

Step 3

Thread a gemstone bead onto one of the threads and pass the other thread through the bead in the opposite direction. Pull the tails of both of the threads to encourage the bead to sit inside the leather cords. (Bear in mind the first bead won't sit perfectly at first.) After adding a bead you must ALWAYS take the side threads and wrap them over and under the other leather cords like before.  Continue to add beads following the pattern below, starting from the 2nd GM.

Pattern:

GM = GEMSTONE BEAD
FP = FIRE POLISH BEAD

Step 4

When you reach the end of you loom you will need to attach the extender. Continue to add your beads until you reach the end. Check the wrap against your wrist to test the size. Add more beads if required.

Step 5

Finish the ends by knotting the cord onto the working threads and weaving them back into the design. You may require a needle to do this. Holding both of the cords, tie a knot below the beads. Leaving a gap below this knot, you will need to tie a second one but make sure that the pom pom clasp will fit through it before you tighten it. Trim away any tail threads.

Wrap the bracelet around your wrist and work out where you would like the snowflake charm to sit. Open a jumpring and attach the charm onto one side of the leather cord.
