If you are not familiar with the brick stitch technique, you can take a look at it here.

Materials used;

Our tutorials are for inspiration and learning purposes. They include links to the relevant categories for you to choose your own colour combinations and we positively encourage you to experiment with different shapes, sizes, finishes, composition and texture. Why not choose your own beads and colours to achieve something in your own style? Let your imagination run wild and make your dream piece of jewellery.

Please note that the colours for the products illustrated in the image above may not match the 'Products List'.

Step 1

We start by building row 0 (we will not repeat it during the work). We thread 1 x 15/0. We leave a large tail, because we will use this thread to narrow the earring.

Step 1

Step 2

We go through it again.

Step 1

Step 3

Thread on an 11/0.

Step 1

Step 4

We go through a small bead (from the side where the tail of the thread comes out).

The thread comes out of the golden bead.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 5

We go through a larger bead, from the top (from the side where the thread comes out).

Step 1

Step 6

We add a new 11/0 bead. We go through the previous white, as in the picture.

Step 1

Step 7

And we go through the second white bead, from the side where the thread comes out.

Step 1

Step 8

We add a new white bead and go through the previous one, as in the photo.

Step 1

Step 9

We pass the same thread through the third white bead, as in the photo.

Step 1

Step 10

We add a small, golden bead, just like the previous ones.

Step 1

Step 11

And we go through the thread, as in the picture.

Step 1

Step 12

Now we will build the next part. We thread a 15/0 and 11/0.

Step 1

Step 13

We go under the thread, which is between the second and third white beads.

Step 1

Step 14

Go through the newly added bead (11/0), from the thread side.

Step 1

Step 15

We add a white bead (11/0) (brick stitch).

Step 1

Step 16

And we go back through the newly added bead.

Step 1

Step 17

We add another bead.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 18

We thread a 15/0, and thread ourselves under the same thread on which we just put the white bead. And we now come back through the golden bead. We pull the thread tight.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 19

We build row No. 2. We thread the 15/0 and 11/0 one by one and pass through the thread between the gold and white bead, as in the photo.

Step 1

Step 20

Return through the white bead, pull the thread tight. Sometimes you need to hold the beads a little bit in their places to make them even.

Step 1

Step 21

We add a white 11/0.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 22

We add another white bead.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 23

We add the last bead of the second row, a gold 15/0, as in the photo.

Step 1

Step 24

Repeat these two rows (the first we build to the left, the second to the right), i.e. steps 12 - 23, until we reach a certain length. I repeated the rows 10 times, including row 0 I have 21.

Step 1

Step 25

We finish the earring and narrow it. We thread the beads 15/0 and 11/0 and pass under the thread between the white beads, as in step 13.

Step 1

Step 26

We go back through the white bead, we draw the thread tight.

Step 1

Step 27

We add the second 11/0.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 28

We add 15/0.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 29

We thread the golden 15/0 and the white 11/0 and pass under the thread between the white beads, as in the photo. We are coming back by 11/01.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 30

We add a 15/0. We return through the bead and pull the thread tight.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 31

We thread 2 gold 15/0's and pass under a thread between the gold and white bead, as in the picture. And we return through the nearest gold bead. We draw the thread tight.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 32

We thread 6 gold 15/0's. We add the earwire.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 33

We go through a gold bead, the one from which the thread does not come out.

Step 1

Step 34

We go through all the beads once again, including the gold one from which the thread came out in step 33.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 35

We hide the thread, we go through a few beads, as in the photo.

Step 1

Step 36

We go under the nearest thread in the needlework. We create a loop through which we go with a needle (knot).

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 37

And we hide the thread in beads. We pull the thread until we hear a characteristic "pop", i.e. the knot hid in a bead!

Step 1

Step 38

Cut excess thread.

Step 1

Step 39

We return to the beginning of the earring. We unwind the thread from the first bead.

Step 1

Step 40

Repeat tapering of the earring, i.e. steps 25-31, then from 35-38.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 4

Step 5

Step 6

Step 7

Step 8

Step 9

Step 10

Step 11

Step 12

Step 13

Step 14

Step 15

Step 16

Step 17

Step 18

Step 19

Step 41

Earring ready :). It remains only to do the second. Good luck!
