How to make a sparkly stretch bracelet - A jewellery making tutorial

Designed by: Joanne

Difficulty: Beginner

We would like to present to you this stunning sparkly stretch bracelet designed by Joanne Lockwood. Jo will show you how to create this surprisingly easy to make bracelet, with a beautiful end result.

I wanted something a bit more glamorous to wear with my summer wardrobe on evenings out. The soft neutrals of these sparkling Swarovski Fancy Stones caught my eye. This very simple design creates an understated glamour which will add a little sparkle to any outfit. With so many different shapes and sizes in these Fancy Stones and their matching settings, the possibilities are endless. Enjoy! Jo xx

Supplies used for this project:

Size 15 TOHO™ Seed Beads
13x18mm Swarovski Fancy Stones
13x18mm Setting
0.6mm Elastic

Step 1

Place all the Swarovski crystals into their settings, using flat nose pliers.

Step 2

Cut approximately 2x 30cm of elastic. Thread 2 size 15/0 onto one piece of elastic.

Step 3

Now go through the top holes in the settings and continue with the sequence 2 seed beads, 1 setting. Until you have reached your desired length.

I used 15 crystals/setting to create an 8" bracelet, so adjust accordingly to the size of your wrist.

Step 4

Tie a surgeon's knot to complete the top row of your bracelet.

Step 1

Step 5

Repeat the above steps to complete the second row.

Step 6

It's finished! Now you have a sparkly stretch bracelet :) I would love to see your designs and feel free to share them with us on our Facebook group.
