How to make a rose quartz droplet necklace - beaded layered necklace

Follow this tutorial and learn how to make this beautiful layered necklace using the soft pink rose quartz beads. Mixing the beads with gold coloured findings work perfectly together :)

Come and join me and create this simple yet stunning necklace, you will be sure to stand out from the crowd with this design. 

Supplies

Rose Quartz - I used 6mm 8mm & 10mm rounds. 

Seamless Rounds in light gold 4mm

Wire - I used 0.38 steel cord in a gold colour

Lobster clasp - 14mm gold clasp

Crimp - 2mm in gold

Jump rings - 6mm gold rings

Headpins - 50mm gold  ball end pin 50mm

Eyepin - 50mm gold pin



Step 1

Cut around 15" of wire. Place a crimp on one end of the wire and loop it through a jump ring, thread the wire back through the crimp and crimp in place. 

Step 2

Start to thread beads onto the wire, in the sequence below:

 2 x seamless light gold 4mm beads, 1 x 6mm rose quartz.

Repeat this 25 more times and finish the sequence with 2 more seamless light gold 4mm beads.

Now thread on a crimp bead, thread through a jump ring and back through the crimp bead. Crimp in place. Attach a lobster clasp onto the end of your necklace using another jump ring. 

Step 4

To create the gradient of pearls in the center of the necklace you will need ; 

19 x 6mm rose quartz beads

9 x 8mm rose quartz beads

8 x 10mm rose quartz beads

20 x eye pins

11 x headpins


Take a look at this image to see which order to loop together your eyepins with rose quartz beads threaded onto them.

Remember to end each strand with a rose quartz beads on a headpin.
