How to make a long magatama pendant | Take a Make Break

Who doesn't like anything that sparkles? These eye catching long magatama pendants will be sure to add class and sophistication to your jewellery box. Join Sarah Millsop with this easy to follow tutorial and make your very own handmade pendant. Have a go at making two pendants to create matching earrings :) We also have instructions for the pendant (Page 1.JPG and Page 2.JPG) which is an added bonus.

I was inspired by Sarah's beautiful pendants and as it is such a popular design I decided to create it in another colour. I just love the shine the duracoat galvanized silver long magatama beads give off and along with the sparkly rivoli, you will be shining all day.

Ready let's stitch!

TOHO™ seed bead size 8/0 in silver lined frosted crystal

TOHO™ seed beads size 11/0 in grey/green glow in the dark

TOHO™ seed beads size 15/0 in silver lined crystal

Miyuki™ 4x7mm in galvanized silver

Chain  - I used a gold chain that had a clasp attached already but you can chose your own chain and attach you desired clasp.

Crystal Rivoli 12mm

Thread - I used a KO thread

Needles - a size 12 needle is great for using with size 15/0 seed beads
