Step 1
We begin by cutting about 70cm of thread and threading it on the needle.
Step 2
We acquire 14 SD beads.
Step 3
We pass the thread through all the added beads and at the end we tie both ends of the thread into knots. Don't squeeze it too hard.
Step 4
We go to the upper hole of the SD bead.
Step 5
Now we add beads TH8/0. Total 14, between each SD bead.
Step 6
We now take an SD bead and add between TH8/0. In total, we add 14 SD beads.
We do a lap with the thread itself throughout the sequence, so that at the end it comes out of us from the SD bead. We go to the upper hole of the SD bead.
Step 7
Now between the SD we add a total of 14 beads TH11/0.
Step 8
We place our crystal in the centre of your design and tighten the thread
Step 9
We now pass the thread itself through the beads SD and TH/11.
Step 10
The thread should come out of TH11/0. We take 3 beads TH11/0 and make a picot.
Step 11
Next, we go to the 3rd bead TH11/0 (yes, we skip one) and again we make a picot. We do a lap repeating the sequence, so that we create a total of 7 picot's.
Step 12
Now we lead the thread so that it comes out of the top bead of the first picot.
Step 13
We take a bead TH11/0 and go to the adjacent picot. In total, we add so 7 beads TH11/0. We pull the thread and lead one more lap through 14 beads TH11/0.
Step 14
The crystal sticks beautifully in our piece.
We now pass with a needle so that it comes out of the SD bead added in the 2nd row. We take an SD bead and dig into the adjacent SD. In total, we add 14 SD beads.
Step 15
After the lap, we move to the top hole of the SD bead and acquire 2x TH11/0 + 1x TH8/0 + 2x TH11/0.
Step 16
With the thread itself go through the added beads to strengthen it.
Then we go down. In a straight line to add the dagger bead.
Step 17
Then we secure and hide the thread. Now we attach the earwire using a jump ring and so here is the first earring ready.
Step 18
Create the second earring in the same way.
And lastly, grab the camera, put earrings on your ears, and show off the results show off on our Facebook Group!
Thanks!
PS. You can make earrings from other sizes of crystals. Just add / remove the corresponding number of beads to the size of the crystal.
