How to make earrings with superduo beads - step by step diamond earrings
Designed by: Julita Wójtowicz-Gra
We all love Matubo beads. They give our imagination a chance to show off. Here at BD we really love the new SuperDuo colours. I will show you step by step how to make earrings with SuperDuo beads. So if you have a little time, beads and a cup of tea at hand, you can forget about the world for a moment to create these gorgeous earrings. Let's Stitch!
Materials:
SuperDuo - 98 pieces. I used two colours
Earwires
Jump Rings
Needle
Thread - I used One-G in grey-blue. Match the thread to the colour of the beads because it will be visible from the side of the earrings.
Scissors
Jewellery Pliers
Our tutorials are for inspiration and learning purposes. They include links to the relevant categories for you to choose your own colour combinations and we positively encourage you to experiment with different shapes, sizes, finishes, composition and texture. Why not choose your own beads and colours to achieve something in your own style? Let your imagination run wild and make your dream piece of jewellery.
Please note that the colours for the products illustrated in the image above may not match the 'Products List'.
Step 1
We cut about 1.5m thread and thread it on the needle. We thread one TOHO bead and tie a thread about 10 cm from the end of the thread. He will be our stopwatch.
Step 2
We thread 3 S1 beads by pulling the thread through one hole from each bead.
Step 3
We pass the needle through the second hole of the last bead, turning the thread.
Step 4
Aligning the beads in a visible way in the picture we thread the S2 bead.
Step 5
We thread the thread through the upper hole of the first bead S1.
When working, make sure that the beads adhere nicely to each other, but do not stretch the thread too much because it can cause the earring to wave.
Step 6
We thread another S1 bead ...
Step 7
... and then put the thread through the second hole of the same bead and turn the thread back.
Step 8
We thread the S2 bead.
Step 9
We thread the thread through the upper hole of the S2 bead in the middle of the work.
Step 10
We thread one S2 bead and one S1 bead and set the strung beads visible in the photo - S2 bead up and S1 bead down.
We can already see how the pattern is created from the bottom of the bead.
Step 11
We pull the needle through the second hole of the last S1 bead and all the holes of the beads on the same level (a total of 5 beads).
Step 12
We pull the needle through the second hole of the last S1 bead and all the holes of the beads on the same level (a total of 5 beads).
Step 13
We thread the S1 bead.
Step 14
We thread the thread through the second hole of the last S1 bead, turning the thread.
Step 15
We thread the S2 bead.
Step 16
We thread the thread through the S2 bead in the earring.
Step 17
We thread the S1 bead.
Step 18
We thread the thread through the S2 bead at work.
Step 19
We thread the beads S2 and S1 and set them as shown in the photo - S2 up and S1 down.
Step 20
We thread the thread through the second hole of the last S1 bead and then all the holes in the beads in the same row.
Step 21
We pass the needle through the second hole of the last S1 bead and all the holes in the beads in this row.
Step 22
We proceed in the same way creating the next 3 rows.
Step 23
We proceed in the same way creating the next 3 rows.
Step 24
Passing through the thread through all the beads in the seventh row, we do not pass through the last bead S1. From now on we will narrow our earring.
Step 25
We go through the second hole in the last bead S2.
Step 26
We make the beads in a row in the same way as before (two S1 beads, one S2 bead, two S1 beads).
Step 27
We pass the needle through the second hole of the last bead S2 (lower row) ...
Step 28
and subsequent beads in the same row ending with the last S2 bead (We do not go through the S1 bead).
Step 29
We turn the thread in the S2 bead again.
Step 30
We go through the holes of all beads to S1 ending.
Step 31
We thread the thread through the second hole in the last bead S1.
Step 32
We complete the next row with four S1 beads and go through the last S1 bead in the earring.
Step 33
Again, pull the thread in a row below and in the same way narrow the earring to the last bead.
Step 34
After sewing the entire earring, we thread the thread inside and tie a double knot.
Step 35
We hide the thread passing again through several beads inside the earring and cut it.
Step 36
We remove our stopper from the end of the earring and thread the thread. As from the previous page, we go to the center of the earring, tie a double knot and hide the thread.
Step 37
Using pliers, we bend the assembly ring and put it through the last bead in the earring.
Step 38
We put the earring hook on the ring and clamp it with pliers.
Step 39
The earring is ready. It's enough to create a second one in the same way and you can enjoy your new acquisition.
Step 40
