Difficulty: Beginner
Do you like beaded bracelets? This is a rather rhetorical question, because we know you love them! That is why Magdalena, in this tutorial, will show you how to make a bracelet using shaped beads. We tried it out and found that this pattern is so much fun that it won't end with one! To work!
You can add all the items you need to your basket by clicking the box in the 'Products used' section above, or you can let your imagination run wild and choose your own materials from the links below. Please note that the colours for the products illustrated in the image above may not match the 'Products List'.
- 7mm CzechMates Cabochons - 8mm Preciosa Candy Beads would work well too
- TOHO 11/0
- SuperDuo Beads
- TOHO 8/0's - 2pcs to attach the clasp
- Clasp
- 2 x Jump rings
- Needle
- Thread
- Scissors
Remember - our tutorials are for inspiration and learning purposes. They include links to the relevant categories for you to choose your own colour combinations and we positively encourage you to experiment with different shapes, sizes, finishes, composition and texture. Why not choose your own beads and colours to achieve something in your own style? Let your imagination run wild and make your dream piece of jewellery.

Step 1
You will need a long thread, but enough that is reasonably comfortable to work with. We thread the needle on it. At the end of the thread we thread the so-called stopper bead or a bead that will prevent the beads from falling off the end of the thread (we pass the needle through this bead twice). Once the bracelet is ready, slide the bead off the thread.
Step 2
Thread a Candy bead, Toho 11o, 3x SuperDuo, Toho 11o, Candy.
Step 3
Repeat the threading sequence (Toho, 3x SuperDuo, Toho, Candy) until you get the bracelet length you want.
Step 4
Thread Toho 11, Toho 8o, Toho 11 and go through the Candy.
Step 5
Thread a Toho 11o, 3x SuperDuo, Toho 11o and go through the Candy. Repeat this step along the entire length of the bracelet.
Step 6
Thread Toho 11, Toho 8o, Toho 11 and go through the Candy.
Step 7
Re-sew all the beads (the entire bracelet), this will make it stronger.
Step 8
Thread 4x Toho 11 and go through SuperDuo. Between two more SuperDuos, add Toho 11o. Take three Toho 11o and go through the SuperDuo.
Step 9
Continue adding Toho 11o.
Step 10
Go to the other side of the bracelet and, analogously to steps 8-9, add Toho 11.
Step 11
Sew through a few beads, make a double knot, pass through a few beads again and cut the thread.
Step 12
Take off the stopper bead, put the needle on the thread and go through a few beads. Make a double knot, go through a few beads again and cut the thread.
Step 13
Attach the opening link to the Toho 8o and attach the clasp. It's finished!
