Learn how to create this beautiful bracelet and matching earrings with these easy to follow step by step instructions. This design is perfect for the Summer months, the Milly beads have a lovely peach tone and the Swarovski Montee's just add that extra sparkle to any design. You could even make a matching necklace with any left over beads. Gather your materials together and lets start beading.
- 11/0 TOHO beads - I used the silver-lined rosaline which match perfectly with the Milly beads
- 4mm Milly beads - I used the peach colour
- 4mm Swarovski Montee's Light Silk - you could also use the rose gold colour
- 23mm Flower Pendant - I chose the powder pink pendant
- 0.25mm Supplemax - you could even use a KO or Fireline thread for this design
- 4mm Jump Rings
- Glue - Fevi Kwik
- Lobster clasp - I used a 10mm lobster clasp
- Tools - Cutters
To create the bracelet - Cut 50cm of cord, thread on 8 x 11/0 seed beads to the center of the cord. Add another 11/0 seed bead onto the cord as shown in the image. This will now form your loop. I found it easier to place a headpin through the loop of the design and place it on my bead board to keep it in place.
Thread on 3 x 11/0 seed beads onto each strand. Now thread on 2 x Milly beads onto each strand.
Thread on a Swarovski Chaton montees onto one strand and then with the other strand thread it through the opposite hole.
Continue with step 3 until you have reached your desired length.
Your design should start looking like this!
Now to secure your bracelet, thread on 3 x 11/0 seed beads, then add 1x 11/0 seed beads onto both strand then add a further 8 x 11/0 seed beads onto one strand.
Using the thread that doesn't have the 8 x 11/0 seed beads on, thread it through your design so that the thread will appear through the seed bead you added to both strands. See arrows on the image, this is where your cord should be.
Tie a double knot and place a small amount of glue to secure it. Trim any excess cord. You are almost done.
Twist open a jump ring, thread onto the loop of your lobster clasp. Attach onto the end of your design and twist close the jump ring.
Attach two jump rings onto the other end, as shown in the image.
To attach the flower pendant, twist open a jump ring, thread on the flower pendant and attach onto the one of the jump rings on your bracelet.
Your bracelet is now complete :)
To create the earrings - cut 20cm of cord. Thread on 4 x 11/0 seed beads. Thread 2 x Milly beads onto each strand. You could then attach a jump ring onto one end to keep it in place.
Thread on a Swarovski Chaton montees onto one strand and then with the other strand thread it through the opposite hole. Continue until you have used two chatons in your design.
Now add 4 x 11/0 seed beads one of your cords.
Using the thread that doesn't have the 4 x 11/0 seed beads on, thread it through your design so that the thread will appear through the last seed bead you added to the strand. See image.
Tie a double knot and place a small amount of glue to secure it. Trim any excess cord.
Twist open a jump ring and thread on a another jump ring and thread on the earring hook. Twist close the jump ring.
To attach the flower pendant, twist open a jump ring, thread on the flower pendant and attach onto the end of your earring. You now have a beautiful pair of earrings :) Enjoy
