Gold 'Deep Sea Treasure' Bracelet
Difficulty: No level set
This 'grown up' loom bands bracelet design combines fishtail braiding with metallic bands and traditional jewellery making techniques. Learn how to make this Gold 'Deep Sea Treasure' Bracelet using frosted semi precious beads and Loom Bands.
The Gold 'Deep Sea Treasure' bracelet uses a frosted semi-precious bead assortment that has the appearance of sea glass. This beautiful frosted look contrasts well with the metallic loom bands.
PLEASE NOTE: You will also need loom bands to complete this project. The loom bands used here are part of the metallic selection from our MEGALOOMKIT.
Attach a jump ring to the second loop in on the spacer bar. Place your first loom band through the jump ring and create an infinity shape over 2 pegs of your loom. Begin a fishtail braid, instructions can be found below.
Braid approx. 4.5cm and then remove from the loom. Instead of attaching to an s or c-clip, attach a bead to an eye pin and secure your loom braid by catching the ends in the eye pin loop.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 on the other bar, and attach to the same bead so the loom bands are joined in the middle. Repeat the same process again to create the second row of loom bands.
Connect two rows of beads using eyepins and attach to each outer loop on the spacer bar.
Now only the centre loop should be left. Cut a piece of cupchain to fit and use cupchain ends and jump rings to join each end to the spacer bar.
To finish your bracelet attach the toggle clasp using jump rings.
