Learn how to make this 'Fly away' Necklace using Swarovski Crystals and a Butterfly Charm.

Step 1

Cut 3 strands of cotton cord approx 60cm long. Tie a knot in the end and plait the three strands together.  (You may wish to secure the knotted end to a surface whist doing this. ) Thread silver beads on one of the strands at alternate points along the plait. Tie a knot at the end of the plait.

Step 2

Attach the Butterfly Charm to a thread in the middle of the plait using a jumpring.

Step 3

Cut approx 30cm of the suede cord and thread underneath the same strand of cord that the jumpring is attached to. Tie the suede in a bow.

Step 4

Glue a Swarovski heart to the centre of the butterfly charm and four swarovski flat backs to each wing. Leave to dry.

Step 5

Attach necklace ends to each end of the plait using glue. Once dry, attach a lobster clasp and jumpring to eitehr end.
