Step 1

Monochrome Bracelet

Take your Loom and wrap one band in an ‘infinity’ ∞ shape onto two pegs on the same row and push it down to the bottom of the pegs. Then add 2 more bands. You should have the bottom band as black followed by black then white.

Step 2

To start creating your Fishtail braid, take your hook and pull one side of the bottom ‘infinity’ shaped band up and over to the top. Repeat this on the opposite side. You should then add another band, keeping the pattern going in the black/white formation. You should have three bands on the loom at all times when hooking. Remember, every time you hook a band from the bottom, you should add another band of the same colour to the top.

Step 3

Repeat this process until you have achieved the length of braid that you want. Aim for around 6 inches as a guide length. To finish your braid, remove your bracelet from the loom and carefully pull out the top two bands that have not been hooked over. Then attach each side of the last hooked loom band to an S-Clip. Connect the first loop at the beginning of the band to the other side of the S-Clip.

Step 4

Pastel Bracelet

Take your Loom and wrap one band in an ‘infinity’ ∞ shape onto two pegs on the same row and push it down to the bottom of the pegs. Then add 2 more bands. You should have the bottom band as baby blue followed by pink then baby blue.

Step 5

To start creating your Fishtail braid, take your hook and pull one side of the bottom ‘infinity’ shaped band up and over to the top. Repeat this on the opposite side. You should then add another band, keeping the pattern going in the blue/pink formation. You should have three bands on the loom at all times when hooking. Remember, every time you hook a band from the bottom, you should add another band of the same colour to the top.

Step 6

Repeat this process until you have achieved the length of braid that you want. Aim for around 6 inches as a guide length. To finish your braid, remove your bracelet from the loom and carefully pull out the top two bands that have not been hooked over. Then attach each side of the last hooked loom band to an S-Clip. Connect the first loop at the beginning of the band to the other side of the S-Clip.
