Step 1
Cut 30cm of cord, place the cord through the loop of the keyring to the halfway point. Cut another strand of cord measuring 50cm and place under the main cord horizontally, making sure you have the same amount of length either side of the cord.
Step 2
Now to create a macramé square knot. With your left braiding cord create a half knot by placing it over the center cords and with your right braiding cord go under the left braiding cord and center cords. Pull both braiding cords in opposite directions to create your first half not. Repeat on the righthand side to create a full square knot.

Step 3
Add your wooden bead onto the main two strands. Continue to create a full square knot around the bead and keep adding the beads until you have used 4 or you can add as many as you like.
Step 4
Trim the braiding cord and slightly singe or glue them into place. Add 3x 4mm rounds to the main two strands.
Step 5
Thread the loop of the charm through the two main strands. Tie a knot onto the cord and slightly singe/glue the knot in place. Your keyring is now complete.
