Egyptian Amulet Bracelet

Cut a piece of wire approx. 40cm long and thread on a crimp bead. Place it in the centre of the wire and crimp. Fold the wire in half and thread through a necklace end (calotte).  Close the necklace end.

Sort through your glass mix to make sure you have enough similar beads to complete your bracelet - each mix differs so it's best to check this before you start. Look for some crackle beads in around 8mm (I used 3 of these) and some oval beads (I used 2 of these).

Thread both ends of wire through an 8mm crackle bead. Now separate the ends and add a seed bead to each, followed by a  firepolished bead and another seed bead on each strand. Now thread one end through each of the holes on the pyramid bead. 

Keeping the 2 ends separate, add the following beads to each: 1 seed bead, 1 firepolished bead, 1 seed bead. Then bring the strands together and thread both through an oval bead. Separate the ends again and add 1 seed bead, 1 firepolished bead and 1 seed bead to each strand before threading on the pyramid bead.

Repeat step 4 another 2 times but vary the beads if you wish. You will need to add the seed beads to make sure you don't see any of the wire as you bring the 2 pieces together.

After the 4th pyramid bead add the following beads to each strand: 1 x seed bead, 1 x firepolished bead, 1 seed bead. Now bring the strands together and thread through an 8mm crackle bead. Add the necklace and and a crimp, secure and close the necklace end. Attach a large jump ring to one end and a small jump ring with a lobster clasp to the other.
