Step 1
Cut a length of ribbon that is approx. 2cm longer than the length needed to wrap around your wrist.
Step 2
Fold over one end of the ribbon by approx 0.75cm.
Sew this to the main ribbon.
Attach a jumpring to this flat loop you have created.
Repeat on the other end of the bracelet and attach a lobster clasp to this sides jumpring.
Step 3
Lay out your ribbon/bracelet on a beading mat and secure it to the surface.
Step 4
Start macrame knotting (leaving a larger gap between knots) approx. 2cm from the ribbon end. Click here to view a short tutorial on how to macrame knot.
Step 5
After every 3 complete macrame square knots, thread on a small (4mm) closed jumpring and continue knotting.
Finish knotting after the final 3 complete macrame knots and secure your threads using small drops of glue. Trim your thread once you are sure it won't unravel.
