Instructions for creating your own 'Dad's turn' bracelet using seed beads and leather.

This is what the other side of the seed beads looks like to easily change the design.Dad's Turn Bracelet Reverse

Step 1

Cut the regaliz leather to your desired length, taking into account the length of the clasp.

Step 2

Following the chart above, pick up 32 black delica's and peyote stitch a couple of rows. Follow the pattern for adding the DAD letters. If you are doing it in just 2 colours, continue stitching rows of peyote until it fits around the piece of regaliz leather.

Step 3

If  you want to do the “TURN”, when your piece of peyote fits half way around the leather, stop and change to the desired  colours for the reverse side. Again, keep checking to see how it fits.

Step 4

When your piece of peyote is complete, you'll want it to be a snug fit, but not stretched tight. Close the tube of peyote by zipping up, stitching from one side to the other. Check at this point that it will slide onto your leather and can turn around.

Step 5

Glue one end of the leather into the clasp. Slide on one of the silicone rings, followed by your peyote tube and end with another silicone ring. These rings will stop the tube from sliding up and down your cuff.

Step 6

End by gluing on the other side of the clasp and your "Dad's Turn” cuff is complete. Turn the tube depending on what side you want.
