Comet 'Galaxy Bracelet'

Thank you for viewing our archived gallery design. This design is in the gallery archive because we no longer stock some of the main items used to make this design and we don’t currently have suitable alternatives. However we didn’t want to remove the design completely as we thought it might inspire you. Step 1

Using 1 metre of your cord fold it in half and create a loop. See picture.

Step 2

Fold the cord round the back. See picture.

Step 3

Thread the rayon through the loop you have just created.

Step 4

Tighten the knot. make sure your knot sits inside the centre of your cord. Then flip your cord over so that the back-side is now the front-side. See both images to on this step to see each side of the knot.

Step 5

Cut the rayon so you have two pieces. Be careful when cutting this type of material. You will need to celoptape the rayon before cutting it otherwise it will unravel itself.

Step 6

Then wrap it around your wrist to make sure it will fit.

Step 7

Get your two end pieces from one end of your bracelet and carefully take the tape off.  Hold it tight so it doesn't unravel.

Place both ends together and tightly wrap some new tape around them. The tighter/smaller you make it the easier it will be for you to fit into the clasp. Trim your end with a pair of sharp scissors. You should have approx. 7mm of celotape left on the cord.

Step 8

This is where it gets a little tricky- you need to add a couple of drops of fevi kwik to the inside of the clasp (use it sparingly as this glue is extra strong). Push your peice of rayon into one end of the clasp. It's will be a very tight fit. It may need a bit of persuation but it will fit.

Step 9

Repeat steps 7 & 8 for the other end of your bracelet.
