Learn how to make these cute little wine glass charms to decorate your toasting glasses this Christmas, made from FIMO polymer clay - these will add a festive vibe to your wine glasses.
The Candy Cane
Take a pinch of your white FIMO, soften this in your hands and roll into a sausage, make sure that the ends are both curved/rounded off. Now take a pinch of your red FIMO and roll out, cut a long rectangle out of the FIMO and roll this around the white FIMO sausage and twist the two together so the red combines with the white, then finish by rolling so they are both smoothly attached together and bend into a candy cane shape. Lastly fit a eyepin into the top, trim if it is too long.
The Holly Leaf
Take two pinches of your green FIMO and roll them out so they are roughly 3 - 4 mm thick, cut two holly leaves out of each and press the tips together to make two holly leaves combined. Now roll out three tiny balls from the red and place those in the centre of the two to hide the join of the holly leaves. Now take a eyepin and place through the top.
Take a pinch of red FIMO and roll out until about 3 mm thick, cut until you have a shape of a stocking and then roll out some tiny balls of white to sit at the top of the stocking as the fur around the top. Now place an eye pin again through the top and put aside.
The Christmas Tree
Take a pinch of the green FIMO and roll out until about 3 mm thick and cut a triangle out of it. Now roll a short stump sausage for the tree trunk and attach to the bottom of your green tree. Finish with decorating with tiny red balls as baubles and place an eyepin through the top and leave aside for later.
The Christmas Pudding
Roll out a pinch of your brown into a ball, take the white and roll out and cut an icing shape place on top of the pudding and roll so the two colours are combined slightly. Take your green and cut two thin leaves from the FIMO and place on top and then roll two tiny red balls as berries and place in the centre of the two leaves. Put a eyepin through the top of the pudding and place to one side.
The Gingerbread Man
Take a pinch of the brown and roll into a ball as the head of your gingerbread man, now take another pinch that is larger for the body and create a indentation at the bottom for his legs. Now roll two small sausages and place by his side as arms. Roll out two small balls in the black FIMO as eyes, a red larger ball as his nose, and three smaller red balls for his buttons. Roll our five this sausages in the white for his icing around his heads, arms and legs. Place an eyepin through the top of his head and leave to one side.
The Cooking Guidelines
Now take all your shapes carefully and place on a baking sheet in a pre-heated oven at 100 degrees for thirty minutes until hardened. Leave to one side to cool and once completely cool thread your wine glass charm findings through the eyepins and place on your wine glasses.
