Today we have a lovely little beginners tutorial for you to learn how to make earrings from round beads and thin leather cord. We used ceramic rounds, but nothing stands in the way of you replacing them with other large hole beads. Experiment with different shapes and sizes and Have Fun!

Materials required:

You will find all the products needed to make necklaces in this project. Remember that the design is primarily used to learn the technique and the earrings shown here are for your inspiration. Why not experiment with the materials to get a completely different, unique effect? Enjoy :)

Please note that the colours for the products illustrated in the image above may not match the 'Products List'.

Cut 25cm of leather and divide it into 3 pieces, making 1 piece longer than the others.

Tie a knot at the end of each length of cord and pull tight. Add one ceramic bead on each of the strings - 1 x large to the longest piece and 2 x smaller to the other 2.

Join the cords together and align them to the appropriate length. The largest bead should be below the others.

Gather the ends of the cords together and glue into the End Cap.
Attach the End Cap to the Ear Wire using a jump ring or Split Ring.

Repeat all steps to create a second earring.
Add a drop of glue to each knot for extra security.
Allow the glue to dry completely and your earrings are ready to wear.
