Learn how to make this stunning collar necklace using the NEW Swarovski Crystal Iridescent Red pearls from the Swarovski Innovations Fall/Winter Innovation 17/18.

Step 1

Cut 200cm of beading thread. String on 11 seed beads, push them to the middle of the strand and make them into a loop - this will form the loop for your clasp. Thread on a 4mm pearl and another seed bead before separating the strands.

Step 2

Onto each strand add a 4mm pearl, a seed bead and a 4mm pearl and then cross both strands through a seed bead. Repeat this process a further 10 times. As you add each group of beads, ensure you pull firmly and equally on both strands of thread.

Step 3

Onto each strand, add a 4mm peal, a seed bead and a 6mm pearl. Then cross both strands through a seed bead.

Step 4

Onto each strand, add a 6mm pearl, a seed bead and a 6mm pearl. Cross both strands through a seed bead. Repeat this process a further four times. As you add each group of beads, ensure you pull firmly and equally on both strands of thread.

Step 5

Onto the left strand, add a 6mm pearl, a seed bead, a 6mm pearl, a seed bead and a 6mm pearl. Onto the right strand, add a 6mm pearl. Cross both strands through a seed bead.

Step 6

Rotate your work so it's easier for you. Onto each strand, add a 6mm pearl, a seed bead and a 6mm pearl. Cross both strands through a new seed bead. Repeat this process a further four times. As you add each group of beads, ensure you pull firmly and equally on both strands of thread.

Step 7

Onto each strand, add a 6mm pearl, a seed bead and a 4mm pearls. Cross both strands through a seed bead.

Step 8

Onto each strand, add a 4mm pearl, a seed bead and a 4mm pearl. Cross both strands through a seed bead. Repeat this process a further 10 times. As you add each group of beads, ensure you pull firmly and equally on both strands of thread. Important - once you get to adding the final seed bead, don't cross your stands over, but bring them through together in the same direction.

Step 9

Keeping both strands together, add a 4mm pearl and then 11 seed beads. Form the loop for the other part of your clasp.

Step 10

Using jumprings, attach each part of your toggle clasp to your work. Finish off your design by gluing the chaton into the clasp.
