You can add all the items you need to your basket by clicking the box in the 'Products used' section above, or you can let your imagination run wild and choose your own materials from the links below. Please note that the colours for the products illustrated in the image above may not match the 'Products List'.
- Toho Treasure Beads - 3 colours
- Beading Thread - Choose a pre-waxed thread like Myiuki. BEADSMITH FireLine is an excellent choice for brick stitch.
- Macramé Cord- my favourite Macramé
- Jump Rings - Need to be thin enough to pass through a bead e.g. 0.7 mm
- Needle
- Scissors
- Pilar's
- Lighter to melt the string
Remember - our tutorials are for inspiration and learning purposes. They include links to the relevant categories for you to choose your own colour combinations and we positively encourage you to experiment with different shapes, sizes, finishes, composition and texture. Why not choose your own beads and colours to achieve something in your own style? Let your imagination run wild and make your dream jewellery.

Step 1
This is the pattern we will be following
Step 2
Thread two navy blue beads on a thread with a length of a little over half a meter. We make the first row from the project. I changed it a bit at home, but you can stick to the pattern.
Step 3
We pass through the bead from the bottom as in the photo.
Step 4
Now here's a bit of a beginner's trick that you can skip if you can handle brick stitch.
We turn back by passing the needle through the bead downwards and tie the two threads into a knot. We return with the needle up to the right place. Then the knitting will be stiffer and it will be easier to weave. It's not very professional, but it makes the job easier to start with.
Step 5
We add another bead in the row. In my revised pattern (because I can't really stick to any patterns perfectly) it's blue. We take it on the needle and pass through the navy blue bead (from which the thread comes out) from the bottom.
Step 6
We draw and pass the needle through the bead, which we added again so that the thread always protrudes from the newly added bead.
Step 7
We take another bead. I have navy blue. We pass the needle from the bottom through the bead from which the thread comes out.
Step 8
We pierce into the bead just added.
Step 9
And we add another bead just like the previous ones. And we get the first row and 15 beads in it.
Step 10
The thread should come out of the last bead. We build row 2. We take two beads and stick a needle under the thread connecting the two beads in the first row.
Step 11
And we pass the needle through the bead up.
Step 12
We take a blue bead. We pass the needle under the thread connecting two beads in the first row. And just like before, go up, sticking to the blue bead (just added) from the bottom.
Step 13
We make a whole row like this.
When adding the last bead, we stick a second time under the thread under which we hammered by adding the penultimate bead in this row.
Step 14
We form the 3rd row. We take two beads and proceed the same as in the second row.
Step 15
We will narrow the row 4. For this purpose, we pass the thread over the beads so that the thread does not stick out from the last bead, but from the second one in the row.
Follow the needle as I do in the pictures.
Step 16
We take two beads and stick under the thread connecting the beads in the previous row. As you can see, we have moved and we are skipping the first thread.
Step 17
We build the entire row like the previous ones, with the difference that at the end we also add only one bead to the last place, not two as before.
Step 18
We narrow it further, so we go over the beads again so that the thread comes out of the 2nd bead in a row.
Step 19
We are building a row like the previous one.
Step 20
Depending on what thin circles you have, you can finish it, as I did in the first version, or add one bead at the tops. If you are afraid that the beads will break while inserting the circles, I recommend that you add these outer beads.
It looks like this without the beads.
Step 21
To add beads to the outside, you have to go over the beads so that the thread comes out of this very tip.
We take a bead and go through this outer bead once more. You can pass these two beads around twice more, then there will be a stronger link.
Step 22
We go over the beads to the other side and add the bead in the same way.
Step 23
Both versions look like this.
Step 24
You can attach the connector to the chain or, like I do, to the cord.
When choosing a cord, cut two pieces. We add the strings on both sides of the connector and we need a spare for the tightened clasp. The stock should be about 5/6 cm long. Remember that we add a string folded in half, i.e. the length must be doubled.
Step 25
We make knots at the ends of the strings, we make knots, we can also add beads.
Step 26
In this Tutorial I showed two ways to fasten them with cord clasps. Choose the clasp you refer for yourself.
And it's ready!
