Get creative with Swarovski Ceralun Epoxy Resin Clay to make some pretty charms for your amethyst beaded bracelet!

Step 1

Start by cutting a 30cm length of elastic and string on the beaded part of your bracelet, alternating between Preciosa beads and amethyst gemstone beads.

Step 2

Once you have used 12 Preciosa beads with 11 gemstones in between, string on the tube bead onto one side of the elastic. Before tying a surgeon's knot, test the bracelet against your wrist to check the size. Add or remove beads as required to your fit. Then tie a double knot or a surgeon's knot for extra security. You may wish to apply a drop of Fevi Kwik glue for extra security. Trim away the tail end of elastic.

Step 3

Take your Ceralun Expoxy Resin Clay and read the packet instructions carefully. You may wish to wear gloves if you have sensitive skin. Cut equal parts (approx. 0.5 cm) of the hardener and clay and mix them together with your hands until you have one solid, purple colour.

Step 4

Take a piece of clay, about half of the amount you have prepared (depending on how much clay you have mixed). Roll it into a ball and press it onto your pendant. Carefully work the clay by tapping and lightly pressing the clay to go up to the edge of the rim.

TIP: If you accidentally catch a piece of dust on your work, use a damp cotton bud and wipe over the clay to remove it.

Step 1

Step 5

Carefully position the chaton crystals and press them halfway into the clay. Continue to add more crystals until you are happy with your charm.

Step 6

With your leftover clay, you may like to make some little pendants! Simply take a small piece and roll it into your desired shape. We made a sphere, a tube and a drop shape. Then trim an eyepin and carefully insert it into the clay. Add a crystal to it if you wish. Leave all of your clay pieces to air dry.

Step 7

Attach a small jumpring to a Swarovski heart. Now to link them all on to the bracelet! Attach three large 7mm jumprings onto the tube bead. Take another 7mm jumpring and attach it to one of your miniature charms and the heart. Attach your big clay charm to the centre jumpring. Link all three of your remaining mini charms onto a 7mm jumpring and connect this one to the last jumpring on the tube bead.
