Is your email subscription free?

Subscribing to Beads Direct is a free service.  We will send you content regarding the latest promotions, discounts and offers. We will also keep you informed about competitions and hot news. Plus, you will receive some great jewellery designs for inspiration.

I have forgotten my password, how do I log in?

Simply click on the sign-in button and click forgotten password or contact a member of the Beads Direct Team via email at service@beadsdirect.co.uk who will be able to re-set your password for you. If you are a new customer and you haven't activated your account by following the email link we sent you to register, the system will not let you update/change details until you have activated your account. If you have not received the activation email, please contact our customer service team who will be happy to help you. 

I am a new customer, how do I register?

Simply click on the register button at the top right-hand side of the page and fill in the relevant information.

How do round TOHO seed bead sizes work and how many will I get?

Rocailles are round seed beads. They are commonly sold in size 15/0 (smallest) to size 3/0 (largest). When working out how many beads you need for a project is is useful to know how many beads you will roughly get per gram so you can times this by the number of grams in a pack. Please see the table below:

How do I redeem my Discount Code?

Discount codes can be redeemed at the checkout, please enter the code in the promotion box as seen below and click submit. The discount redemption box is visible when you view your shopping basket before you proceed to checkout:


Please note: Discount codes must be entered at the checkout and they cannot be applied to an order at a later date. Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

How do I change or update my personal details?

Once you have logged into your account, click on the ‘My Account’ tab and you can update your details in this section. You can also change your password under the accounts tab.

How can I see what new products have been added recently?

The most recent products are listed in the tab called New at the top of the homepage. If you click on the New tab it will come up with the full list, newest first from which you can click on the items, view and buy.

How can I see prices in my currency?

All our prices are in GBP however, there is the option on our home page to convert the prices to Euro's and Dollar's. You can find this next to the 'sign in' button on our homepage. Please note prices may vary depending on the current exchange rate.

Do you sell Gift Vouchers?

Yes we do sell gift vouchers of any value, please contact our Customer Service Department via email to purchase a voucher. Gift vouchers can be sent via email/post and can be redeemed via email.  Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the day of purchase and vouchers must be spent in one transaction.

Do you have a shop that the public can visit?

We are an online based company and we do not have a shop/showroom available to visit, if you did purchase any products online and the beads are not suitable we do operate a no quibble returns policy. 

Do you have a catalogue?

We do not produce a catalogue as our product range is vast and growing daily, it makes it hard to produce a copy of all the products we stock. However, we do have many Jewellery Making Tutorials available to view online here https://www.beadsdirect.co.uk/downloads/

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

Yes we do accept returns and exchanges; we operate a no quibble returns policy. So, if the beads you buy aren’t to your liking for any reason, we’ll refund/exchange them for you without a fuss. Simply ensure they’re unused and original packaging and return them to us with a copy of your delivery note stating you would like a refund/exchange within 30 days of receipt. To ensure safe return, please ensure that you wrap them in bubble wrap carefully, in a manner that will keep them from harm and return them via your local post office. Simply obtain a FREE Certificate of Posting from the Post Office as proof of posting. We will process your returns/exchanges within 48 hours of receipt.

Please note, postage will be charged to send your new/exchange order back out to you. If we require further payment for your new order, our dedicated customer service team will be in touch to process this for you. 

Do prices include VAT?

All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT at 20% which is charged on all orders in the United Kingdom. If you are buying outside of the UK, the site will automatically deduct 20% from your order once you have logged into your account.

Can I provide an alternative address for delivery?

Yes, when placing an order you must include the billing address of the card you are using, you can then provide an alternative delivery address at the checkout.
