‘Summer Bouquet’ Jewellery Set by Natalie Edgely

Design team member Natalie Edgely shows us how to make her pretty summer jewellery set using delicate lucite flowers! You can see more of Natalie’s designs on her NDE Jewellery Facebook page!

A few weeks ago I found myself searching my wardrobe for some lighter summer clothing. In doing so I thought that it would be a great idea to design and make a lighter summer set of jewellery to go with my summer wardrobe.

I chose the lucite flowers as they are light but still bright and bold and remind me of the pretty blooms of summer. As you may already know from my last ‘Sweet Valentine Bracelet’ design, I can’t resist adding some Swarovski to my designs so this time I chose the 3mm bicones to add a little sparkle. I always favour the  silver colour findings and so I have also incorporated them into my design, although I’m sure if you prefer rose gold or gold would look equally as good!

I hope that you enjoy making the set as much as I did, we just need that heat wave to come back now!
