When it comes to beading I have to admit I’m actually still quite new intricate beaded patterns..so it was only last week I attempted my first ever Peyote stitch! I’ve never really made friends with seed beads as I thought I would find them too small and frustrating to work with, but with help from my beading colleagues I soon got into rhythm of stitching my own practice Peyote piece.
For anyone else who is beginning to work with seed beads, we’ve put together an instruction guide with useful tips on how to create a super neat Peyote stitch! Download and print out your guide and use this as a reference for all your future projects. Keep a close eye on the blog as we’ll be sharing some gorgeous Peyote stitch designs very soon!
Your PDF guide shows you the pattern to create the ‘Pocahontas’ bracelet design that Sarah demonstrates how to make in the Take a Make Break video tutorial below. Please note that although the kits are no longer available to buy, you can still order your seed beads and materials separately if you want to create your own version.
See you with some exciting beady projects soon! Katrina x
