Hi Beaders, today I would like to inspire you with my Ocean Weave Bracelet using the stunning Swarovski Bicones.
Now that Summer is approaching and the holiday season will be underway I decided to create a weave bracelet using blue and golden tones to represent one of my favourite holiday places ‘Norfolk’. The picture below is of ‘Holkham Beach’:
To make this bracelet follow the step by step instructions below:
What you will need:
Swarovski® 6mm xilion bicone golden shadow crystal beads AC86 two packs
Swarovski® 6mm xilion bicone sapphire crystal beads AC408 two packs
Monofilament Cord 0.25mm TC94
Silver Plated Lobster Clasp F0300
Silver Plated Crimp Beads FCR1
Silver Plated 7mm Jump Rings F0213
Step 1 – Cut two strands of monofilament 40cm in length and attach both strands to one jump ring using a crimp bead.
Step 2 – Now start threading your beads onto the strands, place one golden shadow bicone on your right hand strand and one sapphire bicone onto your left hand strand. Then thread one sapphire bicone onto both strands making sure your right strand now becomes your left strand and do the same the other side so that both strands cross over in the opposite direction.
Step 3 – Add a golden shadow bicone to your left hand strand and a sapphire bicone to your right hand strand, then add a golden shadow bicone to both strands. Repeat this to reach your desired length.
Step 4 – Now attach the other end of your bracelet to a jump ring using a crimp bead and attach your jump ring to your clasp. (Bracelet measures 7.5” including clasp)
I would love to hear your thoughts of this bracelet and it would be great to see your makes which represent your favourite holiday place.
