Today is the day of love, in fact with it being a leap year the whole of February is the month of love, as February 29^th is the day where it is traditionally acceptable for women to propose to men. Since the 17^th Century, Valentine’s Day has been celebrated here in Britain, even then friends and lovers would exchange hand written notes and small gifts to express their love for one another. After Christmas, Valentine’s Day is the second biggest card sending event around the world.

Hearts, flowers (we’ve had a couple of deliveries of those here today!!) roses, pinks and reds all come to mind when you think of Valentines Day. There is no better way to be dressed for the day then with some themed accessories, necklaces, rings, bracelets etc are all delightful ways to celebrate the day of love (they are great for gifting too!!). Sometimes it is the simplest of pieces that are the most effective.
