Swarovski’s Exciting New Gem Colours

Have you taken a look at the new range of Gemcolours that are part of Swarovski’s spring/summer collection for 2013? These beads are gorgeous and offer an exciting new look for the traditional style of pearls. These polished and shiny crystal pearls appear like natural opaque gemstones giving you a fantastic alternative.

The 9 colours in the collection are coral, red coral, pink coral, ivory, jade, turquoise, lapis, dark lapis and mystic black. These beads are available in a range of sizes and can be used for a variety of jewellery and accessories. You could use just one of the colours in your design, or try combining different colour combinations for something really unique. (Click on the photo to take a closer look).

Take a look at these two stunning necklaces that our very own Jo has created. Both of these pieces include 3 of the gemcolours; coral, jade and turquoise. By using other components that include; eye pins, chain and ribbons she has designed two pieces that are wearable and on trend for this season.

One of the biggest fashion colour trends for this season is pastel and candy colours. The candy colours tend to be a darker shade of the pastel colour, and these Gemcolours capture these trends perfectly. The colours allow you to make some perfect summer jewellery, and the ivory and mystic black can keep designs neutral as well as carry your pieces through to Autumn/Winter.

As always with Swarovski products you are receiving high quality beads that in turn create high quality jewellery items. The fun thing about jewellery making is the free range you have to be creative, so why not see what exciting items you can make. For something that is going to capture people why not combine the Gemcolour pearls with some of our Swarovski beads, from bicones to crystal hearts, we always have something to excite your imagination!

On a last note I hope you have fun today during the online party! I will be popping onto Facebook throughout the day so be sure to come and say hello.

We are really looking forward to the Swarovski Team at 11 o clock where they will be on our Facebook wall answering any questions that you may have about the new gem colour pearls, and any other questions that are Swarovski related.
