Let me introduce you to the newest member of the team. Sandy’s joined us recently and is doing a lot of creative work. Girls at the office say she’s a new me, as sadly, I’m leaving BD. Well, I hope she’ll be an improved version!

Hi Sandy, you recently started working for Beads Direct. How’s it been so far?
Very good, I have learnt some new crafts and also enjoyed the filming day with Natalia Colman.
Ah yes, we have some amazing video tutorials to go on our YouTube channel soon! So, could you tell us a bit more about what you do at work on a daily basis?
I photograph lots of beads, books and other jewellery making products and also completed jewellery pieces that girls have designed (even some I’ve done!!!). I produce adverts, jewellery making instructions, leaflets and lots more…
What is your favourite bit so far?
Learning about all this new stuff and bank holidays off work and all the chocolates!!!
And have you got the jewellery making bug yet? Have you made anything?
I do now!!! I already have loads of orders from family and friends.
That’s good! Have you got a favourite piece?
Nappa leather and shamballa style bracelets. That’s all I have learnt so far! Kumihimo is next on my list to learn.

What are your hobbies outside work?
Playing hockey, photography and art.

hi am sure you know i love your beads and your service but gees your site winds me up sometimes. it is one of the slowest sites i visit. i have used all manner of explorers with little improvement. sometimes i walk away from spending coz its taking time i dont have and end up using other sites i dont really want to. please look at this and fix if you can the joy of beadmaking for me starts from scrolling through the beads and if this fustrating its sad time not anticipation.
keep up the good work where you are brilliant.
