How to make a Beach Bead Bracelet.

Beads Direct’s exclusive Beach Beads are inspired by the beauty of the beach and its surroundings, from oceans to landscapes. The beads come in a wide range of colours and patterns that will put you in the holiday mood.

These Beach Beads look great when strung on to suede cords, using a combination of simple knots and braids. This creates a relaxed surfer-style look that’s perfect for the beach! Designs can include multiple or single Beach Beads and why not incorporate other types of beads, like wood and semi-precious beads, to complete your bracelet. The possibilities are endless so why not make yours unique!

These bracelets are well suited to anyone who is a beginner to jewellery making as not many tools or products are required and they are not time consuming.

For this 7 beach bead bracelet all you need is one metre of suede cord (TC450), 7 beach beads (BB9, BB2, BB5, BB6, BB1, BB4, BB8) and an end bead, for which I used a tiger eye donut (EX1408).

To make;

1.      Fold the cord in half and tie a knot to create a loop.

2.      Thread on your first bead and leave approx. 1cm gap. Tie a knot.

3.      Repeat step 2. until you have added all your beads.

4.      Tie another knot on top of the last.

5.      Thread on your end bead.

6.      Tie a knot, and then tie another knot on top.

7.      Trim any excess cord ends.

Now your bracelet is ready to wear! The bracelet is perfect for wearing when you’re out in the sunshine!
